My one concern with a piece of this nature is the legbility of the subsidary dials, especially in low light conditions. Enjoy your super new Lange! -- Richard.

Hard to beat this chrono/perpetual. it is ironic that some call this Dato poorly legible. I find it the easiest to read the important data of all chrono/perpetuals with the big date window. And you know I love this WG/gray dial combo.

How can there be a legibility issue with this watch? What counts with a perpetual calendar is the date and that is super legible. Honestly the only perpetual that I know of that is more legible (apart from the regular Lange perpetual) is the Moser 1, whic...

This is a far better machine, and a true masterpiece of horological art. Have you considered the PT DatoPerpetual? I only wish they made a grey or black dial for the platinum case... Both versions, PT and WG, that exist at the moment, are superb. Huge con... 

And I tend to agree, swapping 2 for 1 or even 3 for 1 is worthwhile if the end result is an amazing piece that you wear! Congratulations on your new watch. Truly stunning. OpC

But I am a big fan of the Langematik Perpetual and of the Datograph, which explains why I differ. In my opinion, nothing can't beat these 2 pieces, which I much prefer than the " two in one " offered by the Lange Perpetual. I have a very strong weakness f...

And you got my fav version, with this amazing slate dial! I'm not a huge an of the Datograph Perpetual because I find its power reserve too short for a PC watch, especially a handwind one. And the readbility of its dial is not, for me, the best in class. ... 

Hi Francois: Actually the power reserve is not an issue for me. This is because re-setting is so easy if the watch runs down. Just one push to advance everything by one day, so if stopped for 30 days it will be reset in but a few seconds. I have more diff...
