I must say the RL is my favorite 3 hands Lange. I love roman numerals, the proportions (maybe not the size), the dial layout, I became to really appreciate this (very) long central second hand (and the technics that support it). I also love the visual of the hands in the same "color" than the case (and thus not blued), except the second hand wich is thus seperated from the others.
But the budget is taking a big part of the reason why I chose the 1815 finally.

I'm partial to 3-handed watches as well. Both the Richard Lange and the 1815 are icons in their own right: the former exudes a more masculine feel, while the latter feels a tad more gentlemanly.
