Between the two, I'd choose the 1815 up/down as well, but
take it (and all the either or advice you ever get about watches) with a grain of salt. Some prefer handwounds, some autos. Some numbers, some markers of another sort. Some big, some small. This is the beauty of it all. One thing is certain -- ANY Lange you choose will be beautifully finished and well made. That, take as the gospel!
