Do you prefer the Patek and Laurent Ferrier Annual Calendars?

I like the dial layout of the Patek 5396 or 5205 a little better, but they're far from my favorite watches. The blue "sunglasses" moonphase of the LF looks ridiculous to me. These complicated watches are just not for me.

You have convinced me to take a serious look at the 37 mm Saxonia Thin.

I did try it on once long back. But I think I was jetlagged and took terrible photos. I want to try both the Saxonia 37 mm and the 1815 38.5 mm - both in rose gold. I also like the Richard Lange central seconds - but a big big. If only it had a tad reduce... 

Also I don't like the architecture of the L041.2 caliber, with the small additional bridge over the 3/4 plate: totally unappealing to me. ...

As far as a black dial, could be more dramatic, but I really like the dial on yours. Must bring a smile to your face each time you put it on. Here's a question - what's the ratio of looking at it for the time, and looking at it as the work of art it is?

It is not mine. I tried it on during Dubai Watch Week. But I really like it. I would be happy to own it. It would complement my Lange 1 very well. Its been in Lange's catalogue since 2017, yet does not feel dated in any way.

I think I see what you see in this model. I particularly like the pink gold base at the cannon pinion which is unique to this piece - and certainly to the 1815 line. I owned this exact reference for several years - but I released it when, as much as I lov...
