The Reverso Septantieme, and the Langematik Anniversary.
Even if very different, with an enamel dial, a round case and an automatic movement for the Lange, a guilloché dial, a rectangular case and a manual movement for the JLC, they share the same purpose: An Hommage.
Hommage to the re birht of a Great Manufacture ( Lange ), or to an iconic model of a Brand ( The JLC Reverso ).
2 expressions of an evident " savoir faire ".
As a coincidence, they both are limited to 500 pieces...
These 2 marvels deserved an Hommage, an Hommage to the Hommage.
Dark mysterious ruthenium dial, or " Milky " and sublime Enamel ?
It doesn't matter, they are both gorgeous!

The fighter in the Lange corner will win with split decision i suppose.The anniverrsary has a little edge over the reverso.The dial design,the enamel the red XII just sublime and all the attrbute to become a landmark.Mo.

Yes, I find myself drawn to the little bit of red on the Richard Lange dial too.
And I've always loved the red XII of Anniversary. Nicolas, is the case size of of the JLC the same as the other 8 day Reversos (29mmx46.5mm)? Best, Jed
