The Reverso Septantieme, and the Langematik Anniversary. Even if very different, with an enamel dial, a round case and an automatic movement for the Lange, a guilloché dial, a rectangular case and a manual movement for the JLC, they share the same purpose...

both are really gorgeous, each in its own way. The debate would be " What makes a watch become an icon?" That would be interesting as some deserve to be , and happen to always stay a step behind, will others are jst undoubtly ICONS Karim

The fighter in the Lange corner will win with split decision i suppose.The anniverrsary has a little edge over the reverso.The dial design,the enamel the red XII just sublime and all the attrbute to become a landmark.Mo.

The JLC 70eme is dead sexy -- from the front and on the reverse.  The richness of the ruthenium and layout of the dial are perfect to me.   On the other hand, the Langematik is elegant, and it sports a spectacular enamel dial.  Extra points awarded for th... 

Funny how a small touch of Red can change the look of a dial... The red XII contributes to the strenght of this Anniversary, indeed. 2 fine example of ...fine watchmaking, to me. Best, Nicolas

And I've always loved the red XII of Anniversary. Nicolas, is the case size of of the JLC the same as the other 8 day Reversos (29mmx46.5mm)? Best, Jed
