aside from being way too large and heavy for most people to wear comfortably and not knock it into everything, the regulator dials overlap which makes it very difficult to tell the time at a glance. Obviously, a superb masterpiece, but a watch to be enjoyed on occasion by holding and admiring but not really wearing.

Wish I could find an example somewhere, so I could try it on... I too worry about the size?!?

I see the artistry in it, just not the practicality
I was lucky enough to see it once.

It was very, very, VERY impressive. And a “monster” regarding size and weight. And I had to try hard to read the time and think I would have to practice to get all the informations when just taking a quick look at the dial.
A couple of questions ...

(a) Is this an "instantaneous change" perpetual calendar? i.e. do all the indications change exactly at the same time? (b) And, if so, does the change happens precisely at midnight when the second hand hits 0? (i.e. like the Zeitwerk date)
