The original was not a memorable watch, which I think is why watch journalists mistakenly reported...

 

... in 2010 that the honey gold Lange 1 Tourbillon (722.050) was Lange's first stop-seconds tourbillon. The 722.050 was one of the original three honey gold models, which were introduced in 2010 to celebrate Langes 165th anniversary (because who doesn't celebrate a 165th anniversary, lol?). When I would read this in 2010, I recall thinking, "The 722.050 is the first Lange 1 with the stop-seconds complication, but not the first Lange with that complication." 


I was curious, Emmanuel, are there any Lange models with a visible tourbillon cutout on the dial side that appeal to you? Or do you dislike all of those in general -- all of them with visible tourbillons on the front?
