So the date has been set

I finally had the opportunity to see and hold in the flesh the new 1815. I did a double take when I walked by the showcase. All 4 variants were here in Singapore. Forgot to check the LE number on the platinum piece though. However, they were for display only and not ready for sale yet.

I must say the new size sits well on the wrist but the thickness caught me off guard. I half expected the thickness to be slightly more than the old 1815 but the new one is almost as thick as the Lange One or RL. But definitely not a problem under a shirt cuff.

Did someone mention a Tokyo gtg? I should be popping over in June, depending on how the current flu outbreak develops. Maybe we could do a Lange and Panerai gtg then?

Congrats again Stephen on the PLM and new 1815. Cheers!
Lionel

Hello my fellow Lange Purists, Trust you all are having a great start to the weekend. For me here in Japan it's the start of our "Golden Week" holiday, which is when the consecutive weekdays of next week happens to be a public holiday. Anyways, i got a ve...

1815

Was invited to the preview. But I was surprised that the watch didn't really sing to me. Can't really point out why though. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the seeing your PLM. Warm regards, iAn

The watch didn'T appeal to me at 1st sight too buddy

It took a 2nd fitting, and the persuasion of my family when we went to see it again that I decided on it. That's why i lost out on no.7 for the 1815. But i'm more than satisfied with 77, better than alot of others which i can't even get a 7 at all. Cheers...

Hmm may be I should check it out again.

I also saw the 1815 Chrono. It was the last available piece that Mr. You-know-who managed to hunt down for me. I was surprised he found one actually. But, somehow the dial looked a little on the "messy" side. It's a 39mm watch that looked more like a 38mm...

Hey there buddy, Lol i did go out today during the awesome weather, went to Roppongi and Ginza. Beautiful. The part about me not caring for auto-watches is true, but not the non-Pt part, look at all my Panerai's ( which ranks among my most beloved and tre...

Thanks buddy

So what did you buy at Ginza today? More cuff links? You forgot that my preferred watch size is between 40mm and 41mm. Anything above 41mm looks kinda big on me, but I may make an exception for sporty or fun watches such as the IWC 7 Day PR. Dress watches...

Didn't purchase anything, was just window shopping and strolling. Apologies, i really did forget it. So the timezone would be too big, and the 1815 chrono too small. LoL, you want fun? Why not go for a 47mm Panerai, which ranks VERY HIGH in my list, haha!...

Congratulations

The whole thing is about time, so it makes perfect sense that it takes a bit of time to get it. I can hardly wait to see my first Richard Lange myself. It is definitely something I am looking forward to.

Thanks Patrick!

It sure is all ONLY about time, in it's entirety and perfection, especially in the RL PLM. Even then, the pieces are arriving faster than I expected, so i'D say that Santa will be visiting me early this year. The Richard Lange is a very perfect watch my f...
