I finally had the opportunity to see and hold in the flesh the new 1815. I did a double take when I walked by the showcase. All 4 variants were here in Singapore. Forgot to check the LE number on the platinum piece though. However, they were for display only and not ready for sale yet.

I must say the new size sits well on the wrist but the thickness caught me off guard. I half expected the thickness to be slightly more than the old 1815 but the new one is almost as thick as the Lange One or RL. But definitely not a problem under a shirt cuff.

Did someone mention a Tokyo gtg? I should be popping over in June, depending on how the current flu outbreak develops. Maybe we could do a Lange and Panerai gtg then?
Congrats again Stephen on the PLM and new 1815. Cheers!

Was invited to the preview. But I was surprised that the watch didn't really sing to me. Can't really point out why though. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the seeing your PLM. Warm regards, iAn

So what did you buy at Ginza today? More cuff links? You forgot that my preferred watch size is between 40mm and 41mm. Anything above 41mm looks kinda big on me, but I may make an exception for sporty or fun watches such as the IWC 7 Day PR. Dress watches...

Didn't purchase anything, was just window shopping and strolling. Apologies, i really did forget it. So the timezone would be too big, and the 1815 chrono too small. LoL, you want fun? Why not go for a 47mm Panerai, which ranks VERY HIGH in my list, haha!...
Thanks Patrick!

It sure is all ONLY about time, in it's entirety and perfection, especially in the RL PLM. Even then, the pieces are arriving faster than I expected, so i'D say that Santa will be visiting me early this year. The Richard Lange is a very perfect watch my f...

I was reading your other post on TZ, and enjoyed it very much! Yea, the pieces are currently travelling around the world for customers of AD's to have a preview, and the ones that you saw in Singapore are the exact same pieces that were in Japan, so the P...

But I have no automatic on my wrist, simply and "only" the RL, which is somehow impervious to - trembling. And hopefully earthquakes, that you will even more hopefully NEVER have to experience. Still I enjoyed watching the waves in the swimming pool at th...
