The Richard Lange and the 1815 may share an almost similar case diameter but they are very different watches. First of al, the Richard Lange is much thicker (10,5 vs 8,9mm). Of course, the presence of the big second hand makes the Richard Lange a special watch in the current catalogue. When I compared the PT Richard Lange with the WG 1815, I noticed that the rhodié dial of the Richard Lange was contrasting a lot with the argenté dial of the 1815.
I have to confess that if I had to choose between them, my election would be the Richard Lange. There is something magic in this watch. I think it is the presence of the roman numerals and the behaviour of the second hand. And the shorter power reserve (36h) obliges the owner to wind the watch every day... another source of pleasure!
