Yes everything else is subjective..
But the movement, I think all can agree it is a disappointment. Specially given Chopard capability.. such a pity.
First thing I did was comparing this model with the Traveler One at the boutique. They have the same base movement and similar prices (regardless of the complication for the Time Traveler One and bracelet for the AE), under a loupe the differences and cost cutting is truly obvious..
Yes the RO and Nautilus are comparable in some instances but on pedigree Chopard is way lower and once you turn the back and see the movements you can clearly see why
So sorry Chopard missed this opportunity, for me this is only worth considering at about 30-40%off MSRP

I don’t disagree that more could have been done with the movement. But our views diverge on your other comments. Design is a subjective matter in any case. To my eyes many watch designs are tacky - including some which are darlings among the commentariat ...
