Nice watches, beautifully executed as one could expect, but not for me
The main reason being availability, as I think these novelties will only go to VVIP clients, at least for a while. But also because I don't love the square shape and proportions. The wrist test has just confirmed my initial thoughts.
I do love the new day-big date complication though, and I hope to see it in other models in the future.
I know that this is advertised as a whole new line, but honestly to me it looks just as a square Nautilus. I'm sorry, but I have a hard time trying to understand why Patek states that it is not.
Actually, I would understand it as a square variant within the Nautilus line, or as a gradual replacement of current Nautilus shape (if Patek considered that we had enough of the original one and the evolution should be square).
Please, don't get me wrong, I'm not hating the Cubitus, I actually like it. It is simply that I usually don't love square watches and this one is not an exception.
I just wanted to share my thoughts after my unexpected wrist test today, thanks for reading.
