Got a little beauty last week that I did not post yet. How I wish AP would make this in a modern iteration!!

Usually YG is not my thing but the opportunity presented itself and I simply could not refuse. After wearing it for several days last week, I am now convinced I want it in WG as well as PT but with different dial configurations (guillochΓ© and hand engrave...

It is 11.10 in the second pic

I love the way the numerals are reflected in the polished rehaut - superb and creative piece. I lust for the Star Wheel Millenary in Steel

Your favorite AP mon ami? I did not know that, even more than the Royal Oak Jumbo and/or your 5402?

I will say, it is quickly becoming one of my favorites from AP as well. It is 36mm but has an UBER cool feel on the wrist which gives it much more wrist presence. Even my wife thinks it is uber cool and that is saying A LOT !! 🀣🀣 The hunt has already begu...

For me, this was the period

that AP produced its best watches - this Star Wheel, the John Shaeffer range, sublime watches.

And how you feel is what counts the most!!

I will be 58 in August but I am in denial as I play squash competitively four times a week, badminton once a week and make love almost every night! (No I do not have French blood!!)

I can only agree, it is a striking watch even if it is not a minute repeater ;-)

Actually it is a really original feature which is almost a complication even if it is actually not one in the horological sense of the word Big congrats my friend, excellent catch!

It was only a play on the words with striking watch... πŸ˜‰

One of the icons from AP which personally I like a lot in the yellow gold version. I agree with you that AP should honor its glorious past a bit more with modern variants of selected historical references.

What a creative addition to your collection!

I think a Starwheel in a CODE 11.59 case would be absolutely amazing. I do hope they bring back this splendid complication, one day. I can say for sure it has been discussed at the brand.

You’re buying watches like groceries my friend, congratulations again…

This one in RG did exceptionally well last week in Geneva…and I think people may be starting to appreciate more traditional beauties, if this is a trend.

Groceries, LOL Raymond. I've got a few more incoming so I must be stockpiling canned foods and non-perishables 🀣🀣. And yes, I did see the Phillips result for the RG Starwheel. Maybe people are starting to realize what a gem these really are πŸ˜‰

I think lots of people are getting modern watch fatigue with certain sports watches and the same type of watch everyone else has so they are starting to look for more unique watches. Hence why the Independents have seen a surge and there is a newfound int...

Congratulations, Justin!

I'm a huge fan of complications like these that transform the way a watch looks and shows time. This one does it in a particularly elegant way. As I said in the other thread, a very underappreciated AP!

Huge congratulations

This is so incredibly cool. I looked at this exact combination so many times. Wish I had pulled the trigger now.
