By: amanico : May 13th, 2014-23:43
I will review them a bit later, as I am preparing an article on these watches, but I can't resist to the pleasure to share this picture with you, featuring two Lemania issued for the British. Watches with a lot of charm and presence. How do you like it? B...

Tough choice,...

.... both beeing wonderful pieces ! I do recall your no lume submariner white dial issued Lemania chronograph though ... and the black Aussie & MoD issued are very desirable too. Arghhhh !!! Meantime, I've chosen a third way... Best regards - Fred ...

Nice watches.

.. me on a very fine one, that I had to let slip away.. Well, as Kenny Rogers sings about life (as a card game) ".. you've got to know, when to fold them !... I definitely love the 2 subdial versions and the monopusher functionality ! On a personal note, ...

Both very charming dear Nicolas... but...

... If I were given the choice, I would go for the black dial one. I have an special fondness for black dials, and this example with the white broad arrow, and the thick luminous markers looks awesome to me. Not to say that I don´t like the clear dial one...

Ok, ok, I will come back with some other ammunitions. ;)

Did you notice that the white dial was unsigned? I am a sucker for these sterile dials. But I also understand your attraction ofr black dials... A lot! ;) Un abrazo, amigo mio. Nicolas

Ih Gosh! I was astonished with the looks of the blackie and didn´t ...

... notice that Important detail! Look forward to your future ammunition!! Do I take my pills?? Un abrazo, Abel.

Black dial chrono mono-pusher is definitively on my wishlist

Were some of the chrono monopushers issued to the swedish military? PS: tried one on the other day and loved the thickness of these.

Then you definetly should come over!

I guess they are easier to find here.... ;) But you should hurry. They have started to pop up more seldom and getting more expensive .... Best Blomman ...

I would say....

Maybe not rarer... But definitely later! Small/Big crowns during the 50's while the M-number came in the 60's. Best Blomman

I choose both nice watches....

....... I like the black dial and from white the case!! All the best. Juan Ps: Nico I don't know if you saw...

There's another possible question Nico

One button or two? Nice duo you show. Always liked the black dials, but some of the white dials are just as tempting ...

Cracking watch...

... mr Ubik, far more desirable than the Hamilton and CWC to follow. Fred... with envy ! ...

Don't we need to find...

... both a Precista and a Newark owners first ? Very nice Hammie BTW ! :)

For me: black ...

... normally, I prefer timepieces with bright dials. But in this case, the black face appears much more authentic, and the dial is not so empty. Marcus

Yes, the black dial is very present. The white, you are right, is emptier.

But I love this kind of dials so much! I will try to gather all the pics I have of all these Chronos sharing these dials. There are quite a lot! Best, Nicolas

If...

custom vintage watches were acceptable, I would take the stepped case wearing the black dial with the white dial. If black dials look the obvious choice at first sight, this white/silver dial with no name and what seems to be a perfect patina is the most ...
