yours is very remaniscent of my 1963 GS57 calibre, the lines are the same as is the dial, markers etc. here's the 1968 GS45 hi-beat and my new GS GMT i did have a few more but preferred the vintage manual wind models so let the auto's go. the vintage piec...

Not only that, I love the conclusion, and already own the watch. And I know Dr. No agrees with me (as shown in him posting his arm) One correction; your last movement shot shows a gold GS watch with snap back, and that's not correct for the watch you are ...

the 9S67 movement is shown in detail in this video. However, it is a CAD video and not the actual movement. But is quite interesting. However, it is in Japanese. so I suggest skipping to the 5:10 time stamp and watching the rest with only music. But the f...

Hi Crescendo Thankyou for your really great detailed description of the Grand Seiko and the truely remarkable SBGW001. I dont have any GS myself, byt learned about them some 2 years back when travelling to Japan. I unfortunately did not succeed in finding...

I really enjoyed your detailed review. I stumbled upon it in midst of a Google-search for Grand Seiko tang buckle ; one of my best side-tracks, ever. Your photos are splendid. The SBGW001 should be the benchmark for clarity of design. Lacking your patienc...
