There’s something about the thinner bezel which makes these vintage aviation watches so much more refined compared to their modern counterparts

I totally agree with you. Looks great on a bracelet. I sold my type XXI in part because the bezel was way too thick for my liking...

Mathey Tissot?.. Really?... I had no idea. Fantastic! I get it with the thin bezel on vintage pilot watches. Definitely the preferred aesthetic. Thanks for posting this beauty!

Yup! Actually Mathey Tissot was contracted to produced Breguet and GP labelled type 20s. They kept a few and sold them under their brand name
