I'm reading along thinking I might have to disagree with some of these good folks
regarding the out of place looking lugs... but you beat me to it! 
To me there is something compelling about how they don't seem to sylistically fit
the rest of the watch. And usually a strap that doesn't "fill" looks weird too but that
somehow also works for me. Would love to see this in person.

Very different look, compared to its elder brother, but still quite appealing. I like the blue shade they have chosen for the dial. 39 mm SS case. Powered by a Sellita SW400-1 automatic movement. Vte ...
I like the dial but ...
I’m just not sure about the lugs. They don’t match the style of the watch.
My thoughts too, they look quite bulky.
I like tho think that with a 39 mm case, those lugs won't be too wide. Vte
In design terms...
The designers made a big mistake. They need to either change the lugs to be in harmony with the dial case and crown or keep the lugs and have a cushion case. Why didn’t they check with us first ;-))
Wider strap?
I have an irrational inability to wear a watch without a properly fitted - in width terms - strap. Just hate it if there is a gap between the edge of the strap and the lug ( told you it was irrational!) Not sure the lugs would be a problem with a better f...
Like the design a lot but also not a hughe fan of those lugs .

The unusual lugs are a design statement - as the case and dial as well.
I would like to see how the „wandering hours“ really look on this watch... 💡😉
