Asthetically speaking, couldn't the fabricator have, at least, chopped off the hands to fit within the chapter ring. And one more thing I'll bet this watch comes with a Certificate - - a Certificate of Accomplishment, that is, having hit as many as seven franken steps to put this thing together. Rem

Great look - - but the scan has a pinkish hue to it, thereby enhancing the relationship of the strap to the dial. How would it look under natural daylight conditions (as if anyone goes out during the day)? Nevertheless, the watch and strap combination is superb. Robert
This watch has been for sale for years on a vintage watch website at a really heafty price. I bought a square stainless with teardrop lugs several years ago for alot less and in much better shape and it is damn accurate. Robert
Hi Bill and Archie, The ref. for the center seconds is 6406 with an 18-jewel cal 1002 movement. The crown on mine has a Maltese cross on it - - not sure if original. Will send scans soon. Robert
