A Unique Watch

The experts may weigh in - - but here are my observations: The watch appears (confirmed only by having scans of movement and both sides of case back) to be a most beautiful 18k white gold mesh band and matching bezel Vacheron & Constantin watch with a calibre 1003 manual-wound movement. My guess is the watch was made in the 1950's early 1960's.  While the style may not be in keeping with current trends, it is very beautiful.  The watch box appears to be authentic but scans of nomenclature and "manufacture en suisse" would have to be shown.  This watch should be looked at by experts only (such as VC); anything less could damage it.  Fitting the watch to your wrist may be a problem as messing around with the length could affect the integrity of the mest band.Wearing that watch on certain occasions, I'd be most proud.
