Recent price rise for 5711/1A is further evidence of this strategy. Unsure if WG margin (%) is also better, they might be targeting improvement in margin also

I guess the question is what if someone prefers the new dial and asks for his/her old to be replaced. I wonder if PP would do it.

What compelling reason is there to go out of the way to replace all the old dials for any watch that comes in to a service center?
