re: ewc

I too have gone through two EWC's.  The first one had the world time ring problem and was exchanged for a new watch by JLC in New York (gone about  5 weeks).  After three months, my new EWC's power reserve, fully wound was lasting about 30 hours, so I sent that watch in.  It was sent to the manufacture and gone for four months.  I have not had any problems since.

My AD spoke with the president of JLC in New York and made him aware of my case.  My EWC was the one of the first in the US.  JLC sent me a hat, pen, and copy of "JLC Grande Maison" for my experience.

It seems to me that there is or was a higher rate of flaws with the earlier EWC's than other models.  I have not seen as many post recently as there have been in the past with owners mentioning problems.

Hi Nick, I'm really sorry for your deception. I've not experienced this kind of stuff myself as I don't own any recent JLC watch (although I would be quite happy to and it may hopefully happen in the next months). You're not the first to tell us this kind...

thx
