on JLC enamel pieces.    Amanico - Thank you so much for the many details and photographs.

Enamelling art is not common.  I hope we get to see more of such high art pieces in future?
The JLC enamelling department must be growing to keep these coming.
Best wishes my friend...  /W72

Some Jaeger Lecoultre enameled watches and thoughts.

 By: amanico : July 16th, 2017-00:21
We are several, in our virtual home, to be fans of enamel dials. I asked to the Manufacture to prepare a selection of watches I wanted to see, and to take in pictures, which we managed to do, but with Jaeger Lecoultre, there is always some place for unexp...

As I'm a fan of time only watches (aswell as chronographs), my choices would be the reversos or the 1907.

 By: nafetS : July 16th, 2017-01:32
I was actually thinking about the reversos with enamel a few times already, as I do not have any reverso yet.

Hard to choose but if I could I would go for the Van Gogh with its incredible warm dial and MR. Then, the Duometre. Best wishes Alkiro

Firstly, what a wonderful set of watches. I love the Reversos but the MUT 1907 is a superb, elegant dress watch.

I disagree about the openings in the dial of the Master Minute Repeater as although I normally dislike see-through elements, in this case it seems to me that you have the pleasure of seeing the hammers strike as well as hearing the tones. Thank you for th...

The 1907 is stunning. And the bleu reverso very nice. And the duometre...well, its a duometre.

I dream of a black enamel Doumetre

 By: Joepny : July 16th, 2017-08:09
or even the blue enamel with it. Chronographe or much better dream, rattrapante. In a white metal. It would re-order my future wish list significantly.

Possibilities...I have never seen tantalum in the real

 By: Joepny : July 16th, 2017-08:56
but if you insist, we JLC fans will take the rattrapante in whatever metal. . It would not be a difficult selling job.

My favourites are the MUT 1907 and the Duometre. I got to see Joe's latter and it was really a treat. An enamel dial piece is quite high on my wish list.

... thank you very much for sharing these lovely samples of enamel watches! Some a nice, but some other are very very nice (the duometre is beautiful, the Van Gogh is breathtaking, the ultra thin the best one is my eyes). Thanks again, Best, É.

I almost bought the Master Ultra Thin 1907 Enamel. But finally as the JLC Boutique was able to source a Master ultra Thin Jubilee Pt for me, I opted for the latter as it is even thinner. Regards, Henry
