There are a lot of IF here, for the project to see the light... - IF that idea doesn't violate any copyright. Indeed, Jaeger Lecoultre issued three TT Deep Sea Alarm Europe RED in 2013. One had been auctioned by Sotheby's, the two others are the property ...
I'd definitely be interested! My vote is for the lume. It's good to see the time throughout the night if the alarm is being used to wake up in the morning. Kind regards, Dan
I find it very attractive, and prefer the lume version, due to more balance with the lume on bezel and on hands. Hopefully this beauty can come true and I can have one. Best, Henry
What a poll!! Never thought such a brut majority support for your idea.... But that can't be limited to 50-100 pieces only. We have more buyers here than those numbers. JLC must listen to the vote here.
I agree with most other repliers -- the lume version is the winner. However, I could do without the extra text -- just "LeCoultre" would look fantastic and really clean, in my personal opinion -- though it certainly isn't a dealbreaker for me either way. ...
I like the with lume version too. Not that I would have the chance to buy one, but if this gets approved, I'm sure it would make for some very happy forum members.
.. in all honesty, I don‘t really see the nessecity for such an undertaking ,. IMHO, we should not fumble with an otherwise already great dial.. Havng said so, as a Lucky man, I started with both DSA models, EU US, but if you want a „What if“ opinion, I a...
It’s not a deal killer but I think the watch has always looked better without. I think the Le Coultre I can deal with, but the rest I don’t like it’s position and it adds some clutter. What is the significance of the red (colour)? It’s been a long time si...
Lume version for sure, but I’d prefer the triangular hour marker, it’s more balanced with the hands shape and thickness. Also better readability. Go for it!
Timed release with unlimited quantity available for only 1 or 2 minutes would be great ! Everybody really interested could get one without flooding the market
1) I prefer lume but don't like "fauxtina" as I like the look of the no lume to be honest 2) the red disc and the black bezel might be too contrasty for me.. wondering if ghost bezels are a possibility 3) the red disc might be distracting over the long te...
Food for thought, my friend. It is just a first " esquisse " and I have to see with JLC if they are ok for that. Will keep you posted, and we'll see IF they are ok, what is our margin of action. Best, Nicolas ...
Lume version preference but with very thin margin.... ideally fitted on a strap that can handle water... perhaps with some red details even! Most exciting project if it happens! Ideally less text at the bottom as well on dial... perhaps word automatic can...
heck, I would be in for the non lume version as well so put me down for BOTH 🤣😂 No really, you don't even need to ask me frérot. I am so in and would even ask if we could engrave or names or initials on the back to commemorate the occasion 😁
The red dial really pops. My vote would be with the lume version as it brings the other parts of the dial and bezel together. Looking forward to hearing more about this project!
I was just looking at the Red Wine Reverso for my wife, maybe I can make the case this would be like a matched set I vote for the lumed version! One suggestion I have might be to shorten the minute & seconds hands or expand the dial a bit to keep both han...
I have to say your design, including the patina, in growing on me. I’ve read about the RED event and I can see why you are going in this direction with the US version of the deep sea. I think I’d like to be on the list!
Wow, Nico. I have been thinking of this watch ever since I saw the original back in 2013. If this could become reality, I would be very happy. Lume it is!! ...
This would be an amazing edition. I've been looking for a US edition myself but if this is in the works I might wait and see. Love it! Would a brown dial be in the cards? A simulated tropical look perhaps?
A tropical dial would be amazing. I would actually be a fan of other colors too since red’s been released already. Having said that, it all sounds fantastic to me. Thanks for floating this idea. I’m a pro-lume. Thanks, Brian
Now how do we pressure JLC into making this reference for WPS members frérot? Whatever you need, I volunteer my services to get it done 😉😁 And just want to say that the poll is silly at this point with the lume version dominating like never before 😳 ...

Bonne chance, mon ami. I hope that JLC will be receptive, cooperative and understanding, regarding your wonderful idea. Ano “Impatience is my middle name” Nuevo
Is it a “Go” or “No-go” on the Nico Project JLC Deep Sea Alarm US Edition Red? Let’s just call it the “NPJLCDSAUSER” for short! Ano “More acronyms, please” Nuevo
I suppose I could use the NPJLCDSAUSER funds to get two of the colorful new Rolex OP 36mms. They wouldn’t have the cachet of a Purist JLC, but I’d have two watches instead of one! Coral! Green! Ano “Looking on the bright side” Nuevo
a darker shade of red (maroon) should be considered, unless the inner disk color is completely revisited. Regardless, I love the idea and would want to be included, especially if we can get JLC to update the movement to 70 hour power reserve!! Since the o...
