Girard Perregaux: There is no secret! The guy was probably just a usual production guy that was responsible for designing all the watches! You remember? GP was not a very luxerious brand at those days!
And honestly, and sorry, the original design was not such a great shot designwise…

Ps: Regarding service: Ido not care so much on what they do - the service team will know. Also because here in Switzerland at least service cost is standardized. Not sure what the prices are now, but a standard service for a Chronograph at Omega was, 5 years ago 750CHF. I have some watches, where I
