nah! None of us WIS (I do not even know what these 3 letters mean, shame on me- and please do not tell me) would ever admit being moved nor influenced by the use of celebs and the like in watch advertising. Nah! we are only interested in watches, horology, aren't we?
Well, we all know how advertising is supposed to work, don't we? Conscious or unconscious, it all the same, it works. You do not beleive me? Just have a look at the amount of pictures posted of cult stars, actors, sportsmen and the like form the 50's, 60's and 70's (you know, the Redfords, Mc Queens of this world) posing with or simply seen wearing their watches. Celebs were and are still used as a lift for people's aspiration and this is particularly valid for middle of the road brands, that once were and still are popular with the upper middle class and other 'nouveux riches'.
