Look before you Leap (pun intended).
The JLC is a nice watch.
This L.U.C Perpetual T was an interesting move by Chopard. For the first time a regular production watch was Launched with a new L.U.C movement in steel case. It is also the first complicated L.U.C production watch in a steel case. This movement is currently ONLY available in a steel case.
This is unlike their usual practice of launching new movements in rose gold case. In fact, they only did it once before for the L.U.C 1963 Chrono PuristS Edition in steel but that was a limited edition and not regular production.
As some have commented, if a moonphase display is not mandatory for you, then this Perpetual T allows more legible calendar displays with the extra space released.
Show us your eventual watch, whichever you finally choose.
Of course, I'm biased because of my love for Chopard.
