I agree. I truly enjoy writing and reading handwritten notes in cursive, particularly from a fountain pen, and even more with a flex nib. Of all the modern pens I have used, the Pelikan M1000 nib is my favorite for ‘modern flex’. Would love to see a pic or two of your pens, too.

Both browns are actually M800s. I think perspective makes one look bigger in the pic. The one on the left is the Grand Place and the one on the right is the Renaissance.

That’s a great reply. I am not at all a fan of ‘piped in sound’, and I don’t enjoy crazy loud, straight piped exhaust either. You’re absolutely right that many modern sports/supercars have an exhaust note that is tuned quite different than was prevalent 20-30 years ago. I prefer the modern notes, I
