I bought a Daytona SS Black Dial when I left Australia for Europe. It was pretty difficult to get.
I think I understand why the Elite looks so good despite having an off centre star and sundials. it is these powerful and elegant hour markers. They are quite sizeable. they are like the columns in a classic building. they provide the framework of reference and immediately gives a sense of balance and beauty (not unlike the Panerai hour markers or numbers). the sundials can be put anywhere and won't have any serious impact on the overall feel of balance, elegance and power. Love it.
My first zenith
Guys, just got back from Europe. Bought myself a Zenith Elite moonphase. It is so beautiful. And the price is amazing. My first white dial. Now I have 8 watches. BTW, I almost bought another Rolex to add to my first SS Daytona. The prices there at the air...
