Zenith

I love aviation watches but thought I was done buying them till I founds this. A little more glossy that traditional Pilot's watche but wears very well and keeps good time. It was a very good price but I have no temptation to flip. Thoughts anyone? ...

The crown, the numbers font, the size, everything adds to the charm. Ultimately depends where it fits in your pilot collection.

Yes it is rather grand. Not sure whether it wears better with a flight jacket of Ball Room attire.

I've seen many versions and passed on them but this one really appealed to me.

But had I not had the good fortune to see one up close a few weeks ago I would never have gone looking for it. I'm also grateful to have found one at a very good price.

We don't see them often which is a bit of a shame really. Also a strong contender in the my-crown-is-bigger-than-your-crown category

I have a Laco Munster from their Original range that gives the Zenith a run for its money but the Zenith 's always going to come out ahead, so to speak. Surprised they didn't keep this model going as it's an amazing alternative to IWC's Big Pilots.
