Recently super lucky to acquire these two legends from an experienced Zenith collector....=)
The dial design is very unique but I have limited information about the who is the designer and why the designer has such breakthrough as it stands out loud among all chronometer watches in that period. Even in today standard after so many years, this dial layout is unique.
The lug which covers the strap opening for spring bar, narrowing the watch strap width and this creates complication in the case making....
The famous Cal 135 movement is very strong, and even after 60 years old, performs accurately and still fall within chronometer standard.
I am very happy to acquire these two watches and want to ask whether any experts here know how the original buckle looks like? The one with Zenith Star as shown in picture or the one with Zenith name as logo? I guess correct buckle size should be 14mm width.
Best regards
