Not at all! 40mm is a good size but not for this particular model.
These Type 20s do wear smaller than size suggests. That being said my 45mm bronze wears like a 42-43mm. For instance my IWC big pilot wears the same as the 48mm GMT.
Producing a 40mm version will definitely target new clients but I don’t see myself wearing that one since it’ll look like a 38mm and for a pilot watch? That’s kinda too small.
But as a ladies watch hell yeah I bet it’ll look sexy.
