Its probalby too exüensicve to produce and assemble. The same essentially holds for the El Primero...
which has more parts (203 components as opposed to 278) and takes longer/more steps to assemble than the new El Primero 21. I have heard that the venerable El Primero 1.0 will be newly industrialised for streamlined serial production.
At a market range and production volume like Zenith, every penny counts (I have seen some numbers...).
