That one is way up on my list! I was going to pull the trigger in the near future but the new variations released at SIHH has put a spanner in the works! Need to see the “blue” one in person to decide which model I prefer. The points you raised about the ... 

I am also hoping that Magnus can shed some light on my observations, but even without the carbon hairspring the El Primero 21 is still a fantastic movement, not to mention unique in the market. Hope you will soon decide which version you like most
