The overall aesthetic is very similar to the Hodinkee LE.
Nice, but I like that one better-a bit cleaner.
I see it more as an evolution to the El Primero 36,000 line...
with the same case, hands and indices, and a new dial concept. The HDK version in my view is more of the El Primero case with the Elite hands and a vintage inspired dial. Best, Magnus

I agree with you that the watch is one of the fresher, more accomplished El Primeros of recent years and that Zenith did a great job with it overall. Still unsure of the RR inscription on the dial, though...

Love the dial. One of the few darker color ways that's complimented by a lighter strap.
That strap really offsets the dial very nicely.
Well done combo, although I'd prefer (and am probably used to) much more contrasting chrono registers.
