By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 7th, 2019-15:11
Lets face the pain and dig up your lost and neglected love. Find those neglected watches! And give βm a stage this weekend. It looked so good on Instagram....π€¦π»ββοΈ Dear AHCI watch. From a Dutch master. So cool, but at the same time hardly worn. Why? Iβve ...
Haha! Excellent.
By: drg : March 7th, 2019-15:34
I could wear them on my ankles. I got skinny legs.
;) [nt]

By: amanico : March 8th, 2019-12:59
I like this Omega.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-00:29
Too bad it has been forgotten.
Cool Bulova, Frank
By: crown comfort : March 7th, 2019-23:11
I think when it comes to collecting vintage, it is not unusual that some watches do not get wrist time. They are still enjoyable and fit to a collection, but do not necessarily get worn.
Really is a cool watch...
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-00:30
But, I can see why (IMO) it doesn't get much time to shine.
Well, I must admit
By: crown comfort : March 7th, 2019-22:46
my Richeville Day/Night has been in the box far too long. The love is still strong, so you're WS made me take it out and I will wear it the entire weekend! CC ...
Good!
By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 7th, 2019-23:44
That was the whole idea. Giving the neglected ones some love this weekend.
What???
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-00:31
You know what I had to go through for this one? Hell, man, pure hell. Oh well, at least I got a free coffee out of it.
Shame on you
By: Baron - Mr Red : March 8th, 2019-01:41
But I do get the "there can be only one" theme
Me neither
By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 7th, 2019-23:43
But the CvdK gets one or two days a year. Max. π³
I like the Staudt a lot.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-00:34
The 7 Friday (or however you write that), sorrry, but I understand why you don't wear. But the CvdK, those are so you. What gives? Why not?
CvdKβs....
By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 8th, 2019-00:41
They are weird
Here is mine. It really is completely forgotten.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-01:11
A perfect theme for today as I have nothing better to do anyway. So I pulled this one out, the JLC Master Control Master Grand Reveil. A long time ago, I really wanted this watch and loved its combination of PC and alarm. But, it is really large on my wri...
It is amazing.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 9th, 2019-00:45
The dial is very nice with just the right amount of colors, and the alarm function is uber-cool, since you can go from chiming to vibrate.
I vaguely remember...
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-21:32
You bringing this to Vienna and I am very grateful that you did. Was actually really close to pulling the trigger on one but more or less sight unseen. While I still really like the combination and the value, the thickness would have made it difficult for...
No getting around it.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 9th, 2019-00:45
Mind you, I was 20 kg heavier when I first got it.
Cool watch - but I'm with you on its brick like tendancies
By: jml_watches : March 10th, 2019-04:25
Will admit until I started wearing a 42mm watch a fair bit I was always of opinion it was way too big. So wearing your hockey puck - might get it to be the new normal! Cheers JML Ps just think how it'll make everything else look thin & elegant π
Good point.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 10th, 2019-04:30
But I do have a few other hockey pucks and wear them regularly.
For me.....
By: Baron - Mr Red : March 8th, 2019-01:42
Not worn that often, but actually loved a great deal. ...
Thatβs a nice one.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-02:16
Definitely need to see it sometime.
Good son.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-03:47
Good parents, too.
Of course!
By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 8th, 2019-08:10

The neglected vintage Disco Volante Doxa
By: NT931 : March 8th, 2019-07:13
Picked up this "no lugs",jumbo Disco Volante some time ago. Despite buying a custom fixed lug 17mm strap for it, somehow it didn't quite connect with me and it sat unworn for many months. Couldn't quite get used to the lack of any lugs... I found it again...
Very cool Doxa!
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-21:35
And looking like it might have been a design inspiration for Nomos ππ»
Unfortunately...
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-07:32
The SPB069 sees way too little wrist time. Love the dial, the hands and the overall design but it somehow doesnβt get onto the wrist often enough π€·π»ββοΈ ...
Thanks CC!
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-09:59
Scheduled for next week π
Such a great dial.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 8th, 2019-10:41
I have the exact same problem.
I know the feeling...
By: KMII : March 9th, 2019-02:15
Happens to me, too. Promised to myself to wear it next week, though π
Just goes to show...
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-21:38
How weβre drawn to different things. But I guess something still draws you to it, as the sale is never concluded π
Thank you so much Abel!
By: Arie - Mr Orange : March 8th, 2019-14:31
And yes it is really fun & interesting to see what everybody has got tucked away somewhere. I hope we will get to see a lot of watches we and the owner havenβt seen before in a long time. Time for the βmisfitsβ to shine like a star βοΈ
Four lovely pieces, Abel...
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-21:42
And thanks for the stories going with each of them! I know what you mean about the 300 - it didnβt work for me on the wrist either.
Great photos, as always, my dear Abel.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 9th, 2019-00:49
The Breitling and Hamilton are not really my style, but the Omega definitely is. And the Oris is just great. I love what they are doing with reissues these days. I am so close to actually getting one.

By: jml_watches : March 8th, 2019-15:37
Hi This struggles to see much wrist time Cheers JML ...
Truly unusual Swatch
By: KMII : March 8th, 2019-21:43
And I can see how you would not wear it regularly. But a cool piece for the collection ππ»
There are a few safe queens . . .
By: Dr No : March 8th, 2019-17:42
. . . that need to come up for air, Arie. As it happens, I just returned home from jury duty, so unable to access my safe deposit box. Old pics will have to do this time around. Both of these . . . . . . are in desperate need of wrist time. Art ...
It doesn't seem so neglected.
By: zabreg1 Mr White : March 9th, 2019-00:52
Looks like it gets to go to school. I wish I could go like that to see my kids' teachers.

A Kind of Therapy...
By: Cpt Scarlet : March 9th, 2019-05:00
This weeks WristScan has been a kind of therapeutic pleasure. Itβs turned up all kinds of things that once I started ended up being very rewarding. I have drawn a line between the items that I remembered that I had put away and βThe Forgottenβ, here we go...
While cleaning out my digital closet
By: timerider : March 9th, 2019-09:52
I found a few rarely worn pieces. Thanks for the reminder that I need to wear them, now. I suppose it has been such a long wet winter that the leather strap watches have been hiding!! Still raining today. Take care my friends, Tim ...
