though I have seen it only in pictures up to now I can understand well how that Karrée Perpetual was able to make sure of your appreciation and affection for such a long time. 12 years, that puts it into 2003 that you acquired this beauty. I memory serves me well that was about the end of the restructuring and resurrection phase of Glashütte Original and this Karrée Perpetual gives great evidence of what they had achieved during the nineties. On the other hand it gives proof of your elaborate insight and foresight that you boarded the GO ship at that time with such a sophisticated piece.
This two tone dial and the first series Karrée is a indeed a great design. They know well at Glashütte how to create substantial designs that stand the test of time. Some may consider them as stern, sober or Teutonic but they stand the test of time. And I think one cannot say much better about design and I find it coherent with the idea of the longevity and value of the manufacture movements.
Therefore and because my desire for the Chronometer has not faded for fife years am confident that it will not fail to enchant and convince me in the years to come.
