Inspired by water

Having to spend some days on the shores of the Garda lake in Italy I was inpired by water, so introducing to you a quite funky Russian Diver:

DENISSOV VOLODAZ Chrono Diver 44mm Poljot 3133 mecanic movement 21600 aph (equivalent to Valjoux 7734).

The story is the Poljot factory in Moscow bought the machines from ETA in the 80s when the watch industry collapsed in Switzerland to develop their own production of movements.  The Poljot factory now sells the movements to several Russian brands, some of them develop interesting and different watches with their own design as you will see below
The watch is 44MM, massive, in shinny steel, inspired by diving equipment, Rubber band and can be warn with or without Rubber protection around the case.

Which version do you prefer?...

I can tell you the beast produces strong visual effects when I wear it, and the fact that it is different unknown up to today is nice as well…

The Case back is nice as well, engraved partly in Russian, partly in English.  And here is the movement.

As you have seen, the watch is so shinny that I struggled with the reflections, so I decided to start playing with them, doing some close ups on the round pushers gives a fish eye effect, which I thought was quite adequate for the theme!...

An even closer shot gives kind of an Aqualung effect and Auto portrait by relection

Here is the watch in a harbor scenery

And finally the wrist shot

Hope you enjoyed, have a great WE…Matt
