I bought it to practice repair on. I took off the balance, thinking it might need cleaning. Put it back on and it’s not exactly an improvement. Also, I took off the train bridge and I just can’t get the train gears lined up in their homes where they belong. I’m about to admit defeat

Understood, unless you are well practiced I would still suggest you get an opinion from a watch maker that may suggest parts replacement or something you may have missed.

Unless pinions / jewels are worn or the hairspring or gears are damaged it may be a case of set up. Good luck.

Swatch Group has a company that is named Endura, but they do not sell watches under their own name. They make private label watches for many companies. Many of the "fashion label" watches are made for the fashionistas by Endura. I doubt they will be able ...
