Certainly, here’s a bit more and the resolution of the problem
I got this watch 10 years ago.
I can’t recall ever reading the manual since the first week or two. It’s complicated!
I believe I have located the source of the problem; at some point the 2 crown might have been out or the 3 crown was used incorrectly. When I took out both the crowns and touched the hand, it returned to its home location.
Perhaps there was no need to open the watch, but in any case, it’s working well now.
