Protecting Your Overseas Bracelet

I have done this on several of my watches, most recently my Omega Planet Ocean Chrono. The clasp of the bracelet next to the maltese cross tends to hit the desk quite often as do most bracelets. I have a large piece of 3M clear protection material that they use for clear nose bras on cars. By simply cutting 2 pieces and applying them you have protection against scratches and frankly unless I told you, you would never see it. The trick is to make it smaller than the metal bracelt piece and round the edges. This way it won't peel. I do it on all my watches, it's a great way to protect your investment.

BTW: The longer I own this piece the more I love it. Generally if I love something Immediately I fall out of love rather quickly. This watch is a rare "keeper"
