Watchmaker Recommendations?
I'm not sure of the protocol for such a request.... I'm in
the Washington, DC
area and need to find a reputable watchmaker. I understand that's not a simple
request. I bought a ~35 year old VC the other day and while exerting myself a
little I guess it got warm and the inside of the crystal fogged. I know that
means the movement got damp. I'd like to have it cleaned, serviced and properly
sealed. If it's not appropriate to post recommendations to the list... I'd be
appreciative if you might make them to my email (david 'at' moorecsi.com). Thanks for any
suggestions you may have. I’m very excited to own my first Vacheron and want to give it the care it deserves.
