Thank-you for your patience in digging it up 
VC did a very attractive Gen II OS chronograph for Pisa and this is another winner. I wonder if they were inspired by the 2007 launch edition of the Historiques 1907 Chronometre Royal wristwatch? FWIW, red numerals have some historical context as well; a feature of pocket chronographs V&C made for Buenos Aires jewellers L & E Fabre.

The platinum model with blue numbers is quite striking! Now I wonder why they called the reissue the 1921 and not the 1919....
As much as I admire this model,
in the Historiques collection, I personally prefer the Cornes de Vache. That's why I never considered acquiring a 1921.

I love the 1921 in all pictures and in many variants (best of all the Pt with blue printed numerals) but as soon as I put it on my wrist, everything seems to fall apart. My wrist must be cursed…

I would have inserted the link in the presentation. Like you, I wonder why they haven't tilted the dial on the pc models. The watch looks far less attractive to me without. Best.
