For those who know me...I like to pick selected referenced and then perform a study of the reference (and often specific material and/or dial), including a serial number/price project of all known pieces. I have just completed this for the Vacheron Consta...  

It is interesting...at sales I see sizes ranging from 34-36 (actually even 33 for an outlier early example). For one piece provided by Vacheron, they quote as 35mm.

They are showing 2 4072 and 1 4178. One 4072 is a steel case pulsograph. ...  

Yes, thank you for mentioning. For those interested in the steel, please be aware it is a replacement dial. These are lovely pieces, thanks for sharing the images!
