Vacheron Constantin

Tempted again...

 

I had a great time at the Boutique the other day and confirmed that I love this one, which is great for the season: perfect all rounder and super fresh look, including practical complication for traveling 😉



I also tried this one on, which is amazing, but not for me.



(Apologies for the poor picture, the dial is just stunning in the flesh).

By the way, I really like the new bracelet which tapers towards the clasp, instead of the previous one on my 4500V which is wider all the way.

The difference is not that evident on the pictures but it is in reality, at least to me.

Does anybody know if the new bracelet on the new versions either 4520V or 7920V could fit my older reference 4500V? I've already asked at the Boutique, but awaiting response... I don't know either if the bracelet can be purchased separately.

My choice would be the same as yours above. The Overseas Dual Time is, to me, in the all-time hall of horological fame. Much appreciate your images, cheers, Filip

when it comes to that. I've never been a collector of anything, I think in far too responsible and practical (but not necessarily utilitarian) terms. I'll genuinely never own more than 5-7 expensive watches in total simply because that isn't the type of c... 

I do think we're very much aligned here 😉

I already have more than enough expensive watches, so I look only at refining or optimizing my collection in terms of "use cases" if that makes sense. I want enough diversity to cover my "needs" and optimize the piece/s covering every gap.

And this new reference comes with the red rubber, which adds another cool factor. And you can always acquire the black one too and you have four watches in one 😁
