Congratulations on your acquisition. I have a couple of Audemars with the same movement and they really are a pleasure. I like to wear them when traveling because I can wear them for long periods without getting tired of them.
One of mine is white gold, and I have once run across a Vacheron in white gold with that movement. (I didn't buy it. It was beautiful, but phenomenally expensive and the movement was not in the best condition.) If you're patient, I think you may be able to find a white gold example. I am not aware of the existence of a steel one.
