Sad this happened...
Sad for the buyer.
So upset that fakes are still so plentiful in the market.
I was in New York last week and saw a junior colleague of mine with what looked like a tourbillon. On closer look, I saw a steel (very light when I handled it) "Patek" with a steel rotor, poorly finished movement, strange dial of a "annual calendar mixed with tourbillon" etc etc
I asked him what watch was that and he said "Oh it's a Patek Philippe I got from an auction". I was not impressed. I replied "hope you didnt pay too much for it"
