Boutique a few months ago. In fact I saw both the PT CEP and the PG version (pictured here). The PT version is a lot nicer. I do not like the subdials on the PG version. And I also feel the PG version is a bit overpriced.
Yes, I agree that sometimes the older models have a lot more personality. This was evident in the Sound of Time exhibition at ION a few months ago, where the MR from 1940's was just awesome. But that said, I do love the Patrimony 1731 MR. I would love to commission a bespoke VC which has the dial design elements of the 1940's.
This is true with many brands. Modern VC's are gorgeous most of the time. But I think older PP's are a lot more charming than the modern / current PP's.

Agree with you. The PT version of the Traditionelle Day Date/PR is just WOW! But... i have to save up for a long time for it.... by then it would have been sold out! :) Cheers robin
That retired Malte Power Reserve-Date model...
never got a lot of attention here, even when it was in production. That said, it is a nice looking watch. A lot of people like that case design with the stepped lugs. My favorite version of the day-date-power reserve complication remains the Jubile 1755. ...

I will throw in my two cents worth, and that is about all my opinion is worth, if that. Neither of these is top of mind for me. There are many other models I prefer. I think for VC, this display of the day and date is a tad dull when I think of the retrog...
Have to agree upon vintage models
you are right some vintage models have a charm that modern ones lost it. For example,the use of precious stones in 1960`s and 1970`s are missed in modern watches.
