I think of this as one of the three watches that personifies VC for me, the others being the old-style jump hour

and finally the Jalousie, which I can't seem to find a single still-working picture of on the site. (the unusual-shape pieces like the 1972 fall just behind these). For whatever reason I think of Vacheron not reigning supreme in high complications, but in fantasticly executed minimal complications. Watches that may not do anything more than tell the time, but do it in a fascinating and complex way.
