In the latest number, November issue 11, of German(sic)"Uhren Magazin" is a comparison test of 1815 vs Malte, over 6 pages. Very German(or Swedish)article, that is technical, but also really weighing in very subtle tradition and aesthetics.
It ends up in a dead heat!
In my Swedish, German to English translation, it ends with the sentences:
"If you look at technical refinements and true manufactory movement,then it?s Lange.
If you look at the whole package, with design,harmony,and at the final price, then is the winner unequivocal Vacheron Constantin Malte Chronograph".
