Just a photo to mark a 4-year anniversary
It is hard to believe that my love affair with the 1921 began four years ago. Well, really it began long before that, but consummation took place four years ago almost to the day. ;-)
I remain as passionate as ever about the American 1921. That watch sent me on a very interesting and fun path to discovering Vacheron Constantin and subsequently Vacheron & Constantin.
Along the way I have met some terrific people, both within the brand and without, and made some new friends as a result. It has been quite a journey so far, and I look forward to the years ahead with the 1921 on my wrist, reminding me always to spend my time wisely.
My thanks to everyone here on the forum who have offered me so much support, shared information and knowledge generously, and offered their time and friendship.

Buying the 1921 when I did is one of the few smart moves I have made in this hobby. And it was smart for several reasons, at least for me. It remains a watch I continue to enjoy and feel passionate about even now several years later. Best, respo

I wait eagerly anticipating which VC will be your first. ;-) Between the 1921 and the Saltarello, I am not sure which one I would recommend first. The 1921 is still in production (although I kind of wish VC would end its production sooner rather than late...
